We all want to make a positive difference. Our project’s name, Legacy at Nature’s Edge, is in honour of two people who have.

The first, Colin Pearce, lived his life on these lands before bequeathing the greater part of his estate to Lion’s Gate Hospital Foundation and BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.

The second, Judy Cranmer, lived and worked from her studio on these lands. She was a neighbourhood personality and artist who was inspired and influenced by Northwest Coast native culture. Her legacy sustains countless artists, their work and those who love it; a significant portion of Judy’s estate was bequeathed to the Museum of Anthropology and Emily Carr University of Design and Art.

An enduring gift that betters the world. Named in honour of past residents who made a lasting contribution, Legacy at Nature’s Edge also embraces their spirit of lasting care, supporting a balanced, walkable lifestyle that’s good for community – and good for the soul.

Less time in the car; more play in the woods. Simpler moments, with greater returns. A little less screentime, plus lots of fresh air. Minimal stress; maximum joy.

this is your legacy.
